My Red Mug

We were task to draw an inanimate object. I chose a mug because it is a simple thing to draw.
Besides, it is an every day items that we often used. The drawing is based off the reference I found online.

The mug appears to have a smooth, ceramic texture. This can be achieved by using a brush and blending the light and dark colors. White highlight are used to give the mug the reflection of the light. The lack of a shadow on the mug suggests the mug is in flat lighting condition.
